The Flytec 4030Race is a substantial redesign of the 4030XL with the serious competition and XC pilot in mind. Feedback from many top pilots was used to develop this vario. The 2 top US pilots, Paris Williams and Mike Barber, were used to design the best combined vario-final glide computer available, All of the strong points of the 4030XL were retained as well as additional functionality needed to give pilots the best competitve edge possible. The Flytec 4030Race conbines the best of both worlds (light, compacy, easy to use, fantastic battery life) and precise, stable, easy to read final glide computer. The enhancements include dramatically simplified and accelerated button pressing during final glide, a totally new and redesigned approach altimeter, and addition of headwind/tailwind display. Included with 4030Race Manual are a compact, coiled GPS interface cable, Flychart Professional for Windows, PC interface cable, attachment clip and elastic velcro, protective carry bag, 2 AA batteries, 2 year warranty through Flytec. An optional wireless airspeed sensor and receiver option is available for this unit.
